SUBSTANCE: media processing apparatus includes: a drum that is configured in the form of a circular cylinder and which rotates about a rotation shaft; tape, which, together with the carrier to be stored, is wound onto the circumference of the drum, which is the circumferential surface of the drum; coil on which the tape is pre-wound and from which the tape is stretched, accompanying the rotation of the drum; and a mechanism for limiting rotation. Rotation limiting mechanism includes a restriction segment, the movement of which is prevented by a tape wound around the circumference of the drum, and which moves when the drum rotates in the unwinding direction to unwind the tape, so that the tape moves away from the circumference of the drum, to open the position of winding the tape on the peripheral surface of the drum, and a stop segment that adjoins the restriction segment, to limit the rotation of the drum in the unwinding direction.
EFFECT: device for processing the carriers is proposed.
