SUBSTANCE: section (15) temporarily retaining the banknotes exploits pickup (45) for detection of end contrast area that shuts off the light nearby inner tape (40). Said area detected, rotation of drum (23) winding of outer and inner tapes (30) and (40) of carrier (BL) arranged there between terminates. The length of outer tape (30) exceeds that of inner tape (40) by extra length LE. Said length LE is maintained so that the ratio of tapes length does not vary even if outer tape (30) is undercut. Termination of drum rotation when outer tape (30) reaches the end part allows preventing of overtension of the tapes, hence, their damage.
EFFECT: stable operation of cash machine.
