SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology and can be applicable for treating cataract by performing an operation of phacoemulsification for the artificial intraocular lens implantation. A transparent and chemically neutral excipient that is PC-94 glycerol having a refraction index of more than one, or similar is introduced into the capsular sac through the same incision; that is followed by introducing cholesterol or lecithin eliminating the introduced excipient loss.
EFFECT: method enables reducing a risk of astigmatism.
