SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture. The invention is a method of determining the germination of seeds of linen flax based on assessment of degree of development of seedlings, comprising sampling of seeds, selection of seeds from the batches in determining the purity, the count of four samples of 50 seeds in each, seed germination between the strips of filter paper, folded in a roll in the thermostat at a temperature of 20°C for 5 days, where the seed germination is carried out with the width of the coating strip of the filter paper of 2 cm.
EFFECT: invention enables to reduce the time of analysing the seeds by two days and to reduce material consumption by 27%.
