SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Optimisation method for downlink between the base station and mobile terminals in a wireless communication system comprises obtaining identifiers and user geometrical values for the mobile terminals, connected to registered users of the system. Then the modulation control circuit (MCS) power values are matched to the corresponding users as a response to geometrical values. Afterwards, the energy accumulator is initiated and the users are identified, whose MCS power value is greater than the reference one. Then a power difference value is calculated for each of these users. The latter value is a difference between the user geometrical value and the reference value, matched to the reference value of MCS power, respectively. The difference values are placed to the storage, where summation occurs. The users are identified as low-powered, if their MCS power value is lower than the reference one. Increased geometrical values are bound to at least some of these users, and the storage spends the corresponding amount of energy until it is completely exhausted. Then new MCSs are defined for some of the low-powered users, based on the increased geometrical values. The control data is sent to the lower-powered users via modulation and control circuits identified by new MCS at power levels bound to them.

EFFECT: minimisation of common power resource and fulfilment of minimum requirements to the noise-to-signal ratio for the registered users.
