FOOD ADDITIVES COMPOSITION FOR RUMINANT ANIMALS, SUCH ADDITIVE PRODUCTION AND APPLICATION METHODS Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A23K1/16 A23K1/22

Abstract RU 2543819 C2

FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to fodders and fodder additives for ruminant animals. The protein-rich fodder additive composition for ruminant animals contains approximately 5-10% of nitrogen, approximately 30-60% of crude protein and approximately 0.5%-1.5% of ammonia in terms of dry substance. The said composition consists of dry particles sized 0.100-0.500 mm and fails to contain any protective barrier produced as a result of physical or chemical treatment of the said composition. The method for increase of quantity of protein intussuscepted in the gut and method for increase of milk production with the ruminant animal envisage provision of the ruminant animal with the said protein-rich fodder additive composition for ruminant animals; such composition contains approximately 6.5-7.8% of nitrogen, approximately 40-50% of crude protein and approximately 0.5%-1.5% of ammonia in terms of dry substance. The method for production of the ruminant animals fodder envisages combination of a standard fodder and the fodder additive composition for ruminant animals.

EFFECT: fodder additive composition feeding to ruminant animals ensures milk production increase and milk quality indices improvement as well as ensures longer storage life of the produced milk and reduction of milk production expenditures; the additive reduces nitrogen excretion from the animal organism and improves efficiency of nitrogen utilisation in the animal organism.
