FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a papermaking belt with the surface contacting with the formed web, for transporting the formed web of paper fibres, and the surface not in contact with the formed web, opposite to the surface in contact with the formed web. The papermaking belt comprises a structure with a continuous network area and a plurality of discrete discharge channels isolated from each other by the continuous network area. The continuous network area has a pattern formed on it by the plurality of mosaic unit cells. Each cell has a centre and at least two continuous contact areas extending in at least two directions from the centre. At least one of the continuous contact areas branches into at least two and forms a continuous part of the contact area with the first width before branching and at least two continuous parts of the contact area with the second width after branching.
EFFECT: improvement of the design.
