CUTTING TOOL Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC B23B51/04

Abstract RU 2544217 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: cutting tool comprises a rotation axis, a casing with a tail and a cutting head set and fixed at the casing end face on the side opposite to the tail. One end of the cutting head is fitted by cutting teeth separated by chip grooves and the other end - by supporting surface to interact with the said casing end face and fastening protrusions being of wedge shape in the longitudinal direction along the rotation axis, the width of the fastening protrusions is decreasing in the direction from the cutting teeth of the cutting head. There are three fastening protrusions, each of them in the cross direction is fitted by angle supporting bases, grooves for the location of the said fastening protrusions of the cutting head are made on the casing, one of the side walls of each groove which is set ahead as per the rotation direction in relation to the other side wall, is made resilient with the help of a slot passing along the rotation axis from the casing end face on which the cutting head is mounted.
