FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: end milling cutter includes longitudinal axis, shank and working part including the teeth separated with chip grooves and having cutting edge located on cylindrical surface, and end cutting edges. Top of each tooth is formed at the intersection point of cutting edge located on cylindrical surface and end cutting edge, and tops of all teeth lie in the plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of cutter. At that, at least some part of the edge of each tooth is located at an angle to the above plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of cutter with inclination from the top of tooth to shank. For enlarging the process capabilities between chip grooves there made are two longitudinal end cutting edges located parallel to each other in projection to the plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis and passing at an angle to it in direction to the shank from the point in longitudinal axis offset to the shank from the plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis in which tops of teeth are located.
EFFECT: enlarging process capabilities.
