SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radionuclide imaging and associated fields. The radionuclide imaging method comprises steps of storing radionuclide imaging data including quantitative radiation detection event energy values, the radionuclide imaging data having been acquired by radionuclide imaging of a subject; forming an energy window used for filtering the radionuclide imaging data based on (i) the acquired non-radionuclide image of the subject or (ii) initial reconstructed image of the subject formed by reconstructing the stored radionuclide imaging data; filtering the stored radionuclide imaging data corresponding to the stored quantitative radiation detection event energy values using the created energy window to create a set of filtered radionuclide imaging data and reconstructing the set of filtered radionuclide imaging data to create a reconstructed image of the subject.
EFFECT: high image quality.
