FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining high-octane additive to automobile petrol on sulfocationite catalyst in H+ form from oligomerisate, obtained from butane-butylene fraction on BAK-70 catalyst by etherification with methanol. Preliminarily before etherification mixture of oligomerisate and methanol, taken in ratio 24:1÷10:1 by weight, is saturated with hydrogen at temperature 15-25°C and pressure 1.1-1.5 MPa, saturated with hydrogen mixture is supplied to etherification with realisation of the process at temperature 65-75°C, under pressure 1.0-1.5 MPa with application of macroporous Pd-containing sulfocationite in H+ form as catalyst.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain high-octane additive without losing part of oligomerisate.
