FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining nanocomposite includes mixing ceramic particles of nanocomposites based on silicone nitride (Si3N4) in ethanol with the following addition of liquid-phase titanium alcoholate into obtained suspension and preliminary heating of suspension until powder-like mass is obtained. Obtained powder is milled, then double-stage thermal processing is realised. At the first stage heating ensuring removal of liquid-phase medium is carried out: at 60°C for 24 hours and at 120°C for 2 hours, and at the second stage further heating at temperature 300-600°C is carried out until formation of anatase without rutile and removal of organic components take place with the following nitration of powder in ammonia medium at 800-1200°C until conversion of anatase into titanium nitride occurs. Powder is sifted, workpiece is formed with the following spark plasma sintering of product.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain electro-conductive nanocomposites of Si3N4-TiN system with homogeneous microstructure, where TiN nanoparticles are distributed in from of small inclusions on the surface of Si3N4, which can be processed by electrophysical and electrochemical methods.
