FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: this device comprises plug body with temperature gage and electrolyte refractive index transducer arranged therein dipped in electrolyte. Said plug is screwed in storage battery housing. Electrolyte refractive index transducer comprises solid-state monochromatic radiator connected to pulse generator and radiation multicomponent receiver with matched optical characteristics, wedge-shape flask composed by two wedge-like chambers. One of them is sealed and filled with distilled water while another is filled with electrolyte via storage battery housing bottom holes. Optical systems forming the optical radiation flows from said flask to radiation receiver. Besides, this device comprises multichannel signal shaper electrically connected with all sensors of radiation receiver, multiplexer, reception register, microprocessor and data display.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and validity of control, perfected refractivity index transducer.
