FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: method includes control system, piston with work and compression cavities, outside combustion chamber and exhaust gases overflow valve from work cavity of the power module piston to the compression cavity. The control cavity tracks the current pressure of the combustion products entering the work cavity of the power module piston, and based on this value the control system opens and closes the exhaust gas overflow valve, from the work cavity of the piston the exhaust gases via the overflow valve enter the compression cavity of the piston, are mixed with the compressed air, and produced mixture of air and exhaust gases via the check valve is supplied to the outside combustion chamber of the free piston with pistons opposite movement power module connected with pistons of the gas compressor, respectively by this method via the overflow valves of the exhaust gases the later overflows to the outside combustion chamber in the rest cylinders of the power module connected with pistons of the gas compressor.

EFFECT: reduced toxicity of the spent gases under mode of partial loads.
