FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction in seismically hazard areas, namely to the devices that reduce the impact of horizontal oscillations of the Earth crust on buildings and structures, and methods for the protection and preservation of bearing structures of buildings during earthquakes. Planar anti-friction bearing, installed in seismic foundations for protection of buildings and structures against the horizontal vibrations of Earth crust in case of earthquakes, consists of three steel plates (steel sheets square in plan with high flatness properties made of low-carbon thermally untreated steel with thickness not less than 15 mm) arranged true-horizontally, one above the other, between which the rolling elements - steel rods of circular steel low-carbon thermally untreated wire with diameter of 5 mm, are stacked in carriage made of low-pressure polyethylene with pitch of 10 mm from each other. The rods are stacked in one direction between the first and second sheets, and between the second and third sheets - in perpendicular direction with respect to the first mentioned.
EFFECT: ensuring the sustainability of buildings in seismically dangerous areas, improving the reliability of buildings.
