FIELD: veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary medicine, namely to anatomy. For making educational anatomical preparations of blood vessels of animals or birds, vessels are filled with filling mass with addition of paints – red for artery filling, blue – for veins. An animal or poultry carcass is held for three days at room temperature. Immediately prior to beginning of filling two portions of filling mass are prepared, for this purpose powder and acrylic material solution Villacryl H PIus is mixed, for the first portion at ratio of 1:5, and for the second portion – 1:3. 5 ml of blue or red concentrate of "Redont-kolir" dye is added to each portion of dough mass. In the femoral, or axillary, or jugular vessels insert cannulas, through which the vessels are washed with water at temperature of 37–40 °C. First, arteries are filled, then – veins, at the same time first portion of filling mass is introduced into vessel, and then – second, filled vessels are squeezed with lead cutter. After 30 minutes, dead body with filled vessels is placed in 4 % sodium hydroxide solution with temperature of 50 °C for three days. Obtained impression of vessels is washed with warm water and dried at room temperature.

EFFECT: method provides high quality of vascular staining, high visibility of the prepared anatomical preparations, reduces labor intensity and duration of the preparation process.
