FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: for the purpose of railroad rail fixation to rail support under it the rail clip (1) is made of a prolonged plate and curved so that the side-drawn central part (11) of this plate is of C-shape, at that the first edge of the plate diverged from the first edge in the central part forms almost flat basis (12) of the clip for engagement behind rail anchor fixed to the rail support while the second edge of the plate diverged from the opposite edge in the plate central part (11) forms the clip heel (13) rested against rail base so that the second edge in its cross-section protrudes farther then the first one, moreover there is a feedthrough opening (14) in the clip heel (13), which is made so that when the clip is in its operating position a part of this feedthrough opening (14) or the whole feedthrough opening (14) is placed under the rail base, and a special pilot fillet (25) of hold-down insulator (2) enters this feedthrough opening (14), the above pilot fillet serves for electric insulation of the clip and rail and retention of insulator at the clip heel.
EFFECT: simplifying technology of clip manufacturing and obtaining more precise geometry of clip.
