FIELD: railway tracks.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elements of rail attachment points to the base of a railway track. The side insulator has a front wall (1) for interaction with the end face of the rail base, inclined side walls (2), as well as longitudinal walls (3) inclined away from the front wall and straight transverse walls (4). Walls (3) and (4) extend upwards from the front wall (1) and form an opening open at the top for the loop of the rail fastener located in it. The insulator has a pair of guides (6) in the form of inclined protrusions for resting the terminal ends on them and fastening the insulators on the rail fastening anchors. The specified elements of the insulator are located in the contour of the positioning working support shelf in the light in the side view of the insulator so that between the vertical plane (9), in which the front wall (1) is located, and the plane (10), in which the inclined longitudinal walls (3) are located, an acute angle α is formed. An angle β is formed between the vertical plane (11) passing through the upper extreme point A on the longitudinal wall (3) and the inclined plane (12), in which the elements of the insulator are located on its lower side. The front wall (1) is removed from the vertical plane (11) passing through the upper extreme point A on the longitudinal wall at a distance t, while the front wall (1) is removed from the vertical plane (18) in which the ends (19) of the guides are located (6), at a distance w. The angle α is in the range of 15-30°, the angle β is in the range of 45-65°, the thickness t of the working shelf is in the range of 6-10 mm and is equal to the distance between the front wall (1) and the plane (11) passing through the upper point A on the longitudinal wall (3), and the distance w between the planes (9) and (18) is in the range of 27.6 - 31.6 mm.

EFFECT: increases the operational reliability and service life of the rail track.
