SUBSTANCE: split-thickness mucosal flap is formed within alveolar process. The tissues are dissected up to a vestibular portion of the ridge bone in supraperiosteal direction. That is combined with exposing periosteum with attached muscular bands, which are displaced in the apical direction by blunt dissection. A horizontal incision extends through the periosteum in parallel to the top of the ridge bone is a projection of the border of the attached and movable mucosa. A full-thickness mucoperiosteal flap is formed. That is turned down over the ridge bone in the tongue or palatal direction. A pilot burr is used to mark positions of each implant. Beds are formed, and the implants are mounted. Subepithelial connective-tissue autograft is taken from a donor area on the upper jaw. That is sutured to an inner side of the full-thickness mucoperiosteal flap in a projection of implant platforms. The mucoperiosteal flap with the attached autograft is placed on the ridge bone, whereas a free end of the split-thickness mucosal flap is immersed to the depth of the newly created oral vestibule; the flap is fixed along the perimeter of the wound surface of the mucose to the periosteum with resorbable sutures.

EFFECT: by creating soft tissue barrier within the dental implantation, the method enables reducing the risk of resorption of the bone adjoining the implant.
