FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: design of thin-film electric heater containing a resistive element, as a mat polymeric film with a current-conducting coating as nano-size layer is described, which is located between two heat-resistant electric insulation films and fitted with leads for hook up to mains, the leads are connected to the contacts, made as bilateral combs, applied along the width of the current-conducting coatings and made as continuous narrow bands from electroconductive material, fixed along the whole surface of each comb in such a manner that their ends from each side are located out of the limits of the width of the resistive element, but not going out of the width of insulating films, the amount of teeth from all sides of the comb amounts from 1 up to 5 per centimetre of the comb length, the amount of teeth per one centimetre of the external side of the comb is less than the amount of teeth per one centimetre of the internal side of the comb, and the external surface of bands of leads is made rough.
EFFECT: improvement of reliability, efficiency and convenience of mounting.
