FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in mining machinery for development of ball mills and self-grinding mills with their inner surface lined with resilient materials. In compliance with first version, this lining consists of lengthwise lifters 1 and elastomer plates 2 abutting on said lifters 1. Plates 2 are reinforced with steel rods. Rods are arranged in plate body 2 perpendicular to plate bottom surface. Height of rods equals the plate depth. Lower ends of the rods are located level with plate bottom surface. Spacing I between rods makes l=d÷3d, where d is diameter of the largest balls. In compliance with second version, lining features lifters 1 reinforced with steel rods 6. Rods 6 are arranged in lifter body as a row of parallel lengthwise surface of lifter 1. Rods 6 are secured at steel plates fitted at ends of lifter 1. Rods 6 can be staggered in lifter body in 2-3 rows in height. In compliance with second version, plate 2 can be reinforced as well.
EFFECT: decreased dynamic loads, longer life.
