FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes axial delivery of a raw material to a coke chamber at a temperature of 475-485°C, coking during 14-36 hours, unloading of the produced coke by means the coke cutting in the upper part of the coke chamber by a hydrocutter in a drilling mode, drilling of the central borehole and further coke cutting in the lower part of the coke chamber by the hydrocutter in a cutting mode. Coke from the upper part of the chamber with the volatile-matter content above 15% is stored with the coke received from drilling of the central borehole and separately from the coke received from the lower part of the chamber with the volatile-matter content less than 12%.
EFFECT: invention allows excluding crumping of the central borehole and mixing of cokes with the different volatile-matter content, improving the quality of received coke as the target product.
