FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: technique involves transcutaneous oximetry of a femoral stump by placing sensors into a retaining ring on the skin on the anterior and posterior surface of the femoral stump in a projection of a femoral bone at 5 cm from a postoperative scar or wound edges at the end face of the femoral end face in the front plane. Transcutaneous oxygen tension (TavO2) is measured 15-20 minutes later. If TavO2 is 20 mm Hg or less in both points of placing the electrodes, ischemia of femoral stump is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the diagnostic reliability in dynamic case follow-up that is ensured by measuring TavO2 in well-shaped anatomic orientation points.
