DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR HIGH INTERMITTENT CLAUDICATION SYNDROME Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B5/145

Abstract RU 2817823 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to angiology, vascular surgery, functional diagnostics, and can be used for diagnostics of high intermittent claudication syndrome. To determine the transcutaneous oxygen tension in the upper external quadrants of both GRs, two TCO sensors are used in the sitting position before the load and in the standing position in the recovery period after its termination. A reduction index RI is calculated by a definite formula; if the RI is more than 26.4% and the clinical signs are present, a syndrome of high intermittent claudication is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method enables diagnosing high intermittent claudication syndrome by non-invasive quantitative assessment of skin blood flow in gluteal region during physical activity.
