FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed is method of selective obtaining cyclic and linear polyorganosiloxanes by hydrolysis of organosilicon monomers of general formula R1R2SiX2, where R1 and R2 are selected from hydrogen atom, alkyl CnH2n+1 with n=1-4, CH2=CH-, CF3CH2CH2-, ClCH2-, C6H5 and ClC6H4-; X=Hal, OR3, OCOR3 (R3=alkyl CnH2n+1 with number of carbon atoms 1÷4). Process is carried out continuously by simultaneous mixing of reagents at flow rate 0.1÷5 m/s in mixers and their combinations: injector or succession of injectors, and/or centrifugal extractor, and/or ultrasound device with molar ratio of water to monomer in the interval 0.6÷1.5 with further separation of synthesis products by known methods: extraction, distillation (rectification), desorption, crystallisation.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain separately both cyclic and linear products with high selectivity, is characterised by short time of hydrolysis reaction and high productivity, limited only by chemical equipment capacity and commercial expediency.
