FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing frame of high-voltage bushing includes fixing of a frame in a winding mechanism turning the frame around its axis. Insulation of the frame is wound continuously by a tape made with double-sided adhesive layer and reinforced fibre. A sealing unit is mounted at one of the frame ends, and this unit is made so that it can be bent inwards and an edge of the last layer of wound tape is fixed thus forming a solid enclosure. By means of the sealing unit impregnation and polymerisation of the frame is carried out.
EFFECT: increasing rigidity of the frame enclosure, improving its plastic properties, quality of the frame impregnation and polymerisation, preventing loss of impregnating composition out of insulation of the high-voltage bushing frame.
