FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of obtaining 99mTc. The claimed method includes the following stages: obtaining a solution, containing 100Mo-molybdate-ions; creation of a proton beam with the energy, sufficient for inducing the nuclear reaction 100Mo(p,2n)99mTc with the irradiation of 100Mo-molybdate-ions; irradiation of the solution by the proton beam and induction of the nuclear reaction 100Mo(p,2n)99mTc; application of an extraction method for the extraction of 99mTc from the solution. In addition, the invention relates to a device for obtaining 99mTc, including the solution, which contains 100Mo-molybdate-ions; an accelerator for the creation of a proton beam with the energy, sufficient for the induction of the nuclear reaction 100Mo(p,2n)99mTc, with the irradiation of 100Mo-molybdate-ions, in order to irradiate the solution and induce the nuclear reaction 100Mo(p,2n)99mTc; an extraction section for the extraction of 99mTc from the solution.
EFFECT: absence of a necessity to explore reactors with highly enriched uranium in order to obtain isotopes, in particular, for medical diagnostics.
