FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of clean salts and oxides from uranium hexafluoride. Proposed apparatus comprises casing with upper part provided with uranium hexafluoride and flushing solution feed means. Said casing accommodates uranium hexafluoride and flushing solution mixer. Casing lower part has solution drain bore 4. Uranium hexafluoride and flushing solution feed means comprises expansion funnel 5 arranged ay casing top part to feed gaseous uranium hexafluoride via its inner part and to feed flushing solution over its outer surface. Said casing is composed of column 1. Uranium hexafluoride and flushing solution mixer is composed of fixed swirler 8 consisting of blades arranged in tiers in the column peripheral zone. Blades are bent so that upper concaved surface of every blade faces the lower convexed surface of adjacent blade. Radial length of blades increases from tier to tier in direction from top to bottom. Hydrolysis of gaseous uranium hexafluoride is executed with application of aluminium nitrate.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability.
