DEVELOPMENT PATH-FINDER TOY FOR CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC A63F13/00

Abstract RU 2548472 C2

FIELD: medicine, games.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to development toys and can be used for the development of fine motor skills and sensory perception of the outside world by children, including those suffering from vision or hearing defects. The technical effect is achieved by applying relief symbols on a sensory working surface of the toy; sensors are provided with thermally active and vibration active segments activated either in software, or by an interaction of the child's hands to the sensory working surface of the toy; the toy structure comprises lateral vibration active segments which are used as a path-finder by feeding vibrations onto the lateral vibration active segments connected to a microchip when the toy moves spatially. When the deaf-mute child moves with the toy, the in-built microchip, position sensor and GPS transmitter-receiver are involved. There are provided a number of embodiments of the device; operation software files are saved in the microchip memory; particular operation software is selected by means of the action on the toy sensors.

EFFECT: technical effect of the invention is enabling the tactile sensing of the symbols by means of the toy, the tactile sensing of temperature and vibrations on the working surface of the toy, as well as providing the path-finding function, eg when the deaf and mute child moves with the toy.
