SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. A direct-acting evaporator for use in a plant for energy regeneration with Rankine cycle on an organic medium comprises a body with an inlet hole for gas from a heat source and an outlet hole for gas from a heat source, besides, the specified body limits the gas flow tract from the heat source, passing from the specified inlet hole to the specified outlet hole, and a heat exchange tube, fully arranged within the specified gas flow tract from the heat source, besides, the specified heat exchange tube is made as capable of placement of working fluid of the Rankine cycle on the organic medium, comprises an inlet hole for working fluid and an outlet hole for working fluid, and limits three zones: the first zone adjacent to the specified outlet hole for gas from the heat source, the second zone adjacent to the specified inlet hole for gas from the heat source, and the third zone arranged between the specified first and specified second zone, besides, the specified inlet hole for working fluid is in direct flow communication with the specified first zone, the specified outlet hole for working fluid is in direct flow communication with the specified third zone, and the specified first zone is not in direct flow communication with the specified zone.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of heat conversion.
