DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR FEMALE GENITAL TUBERCULOSIS IN STERILE WOMEN Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2548765 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to phthisiology and gynaecology, and can be used for diagnosing a latent active form of genital tuberculosis in female patients suffering tubal-peritoneal infertility. To this effect, a laparoscopy aimed at the pre-assessment of macroscopic signs of specific involvement of the pelvic organs is performed in the patients with no tuberculin pre-stimulation. Peritoneal fluid is sampled, and Mycobacterium tuberculosis immunoglobulin (Ig) M is measured. If optical density of Mycobacterium tuberculosis IgM is more than ≥2.7, the active tuberculosis infection is diagnosed; the value of less than 2.7 and no more than 2.7 shows the tuberculosis infection of suspicious activity, whereas the value of ≤2.5 shows the absence of the active tuberculosis infection.

EFFECT: using the given method enables establishing an early diagnosis, prescribing the timely specific therapy that promotes recovering the female reproductive function.
