FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a retainer of thrust bearings for a rotation machine. Every retainer thrust bearing is located on the volume of liquid enclosed in a cavity connected to the adjacent cavities by pipes. The retainer comprises several convex shells connected to each other by pipes, each of the shells confines the cavity. The convex shells together with the pipes form a hollow functional unit which is not coupled to other elements forming the retainer and which confines the closed space filled with liquid. Every shell comprises two semi-shells set on both sides of a resilient chamber. Every pipe comprises a flexible tube enclosed in the shell. The rotation machine comprises a rotating part connected to a ring at rotation, the ring is set on an oil film with contact to the retainer thrust bearings. The retainer rests against the fixed part of the rotation machine.
EFFECT: higher reliability of thrust bearing retainer.
