FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: by multiple probing of a photic layer by two instruments ("SALPA" and "PLANKTON-3"), which are rigidly engaged at one frame, research is provided for small-scale space-time variability of bioluminescent and hydroacoustic characteristics and physiological condition of marine plankton groups.
EFFECT: due to synchronism of vertical probings of a photic layer by two instruments, which are in a rigid engagement on the same frame, considerable economic effect is achieved due to reduction of time, which is provided on drifting stations for bioluminescent and hydroacoustic measurements.
