FIELD: environmental studies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of organizing ecological studies of the marine environment using a system of stationary biostations within the framework of industrial environmental monitoring. Method comprises: sampling and instrumental measurements in the biostation plant area; performing hydro-hydrochemical studies: temperature, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen in the bottom water layer; geochemical investigations: granulometric composition, OM in surface layer of bottom sediments; content of petroleum hydrocarbons and heavy metals Zn, Ni, Cu, Pb, Cd; regular monitoring of the condition of biological communities on biostations using common methods; detecting and quantitative recording of biological effects at different levels of biological organization. Method is characterized by that for monitoring and assessing the state of the marine environment as stationary biological monitoring stations of industrial environmental monitoring use of artificial biotopes or artificial reefs, on which a local biocoenosis is formed, which is a test object for assessing the negative effect on the state of the marine environment, the information field of which is used for monitoring environmental studies, wherein analysis and generalization of research materials is carried out in the following directions and must contain: determining spatial distribution of extended species composition of organisms of different ecological groups; detecting and quantitative recording of biological effects of long-term exposure at different levels of biological organization; establishing cause-effect relationships between biological effects and exposure factors; detection of negative, unfavorable changes of sea biota caused by pollution of marine environment in the area of objects of deposits, determination of priority sources of pollution of the marine environment and their effect on the state of biological communities developing on biological stations; analysis of biological diversity of communities formed at biostations in areas of location of industrial facilities under various hydro-hydrochemical conditions and levels of pollution of marine environment.
EFFECT: invention solves problem of purposeful and methodical studying and research of problem in its various aspects, planning of its carrying out, sequence of all stages of operation, as well as preparation of all conditions providing for full-fledged research.
