FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of monobasic and dibasic spherical powders and plate powders from substandard portion of spherical powders to be used for loading the cartridges for small arms. Proposed method comprises separation, by screen classification, of substandard power elements. These are separated to fractions to be processed in grinding drum to get a moisture content of 15-20%. Then, every fraction is mixed for at least 40 minutes with sulphates of alkaline or rare-earth metals in amount of 1.0-1.3 of powder weight. Then, every fraction is subjected to forge-rolling to plates in gap between rolls of 0.8-0.40 mm. Now, said fractions are mixed and processed in grinding drum in appropriate medium. The latter consists of 0.3-0.5 % of graphite of powder weight and 1.3-1.5% of sulphates of alkaline or rare-earth metals for at least 40 minutes.
EFFECT: easy and efficient processing of rejected spherical powders, higher yield.
