SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to baby porridges. The baby porridge contains at least 0.48 g/100 kJ of a protein source, mostly 1.1 g/100 kJ of a fat source, a carbohydrate source and a source of non-replicating probiotic microorganisms. Such non-replicating probiotic microorganisms are brought into a non-replicating condition through thermal treatment represented by high temperature treatment at 71.5-150°C during approximately 1-120 seconds.
EFFECT: invention allows to produce a ready product with enhanced anti-inflammatory properties and strengthen the infant's immunity system.
