FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: in a plant for calibration of gas flow meters a manifold is U-shaped, and in its lower part there is a controlled compressor, connected by bent pipelines via replaceable sealed transition couplings with replaceable vertical sections of the manifold, designed for the installation of calibrated downhole flow meters, which via replaceable tight connecting couplings are connected with vertical sections of trial chambers of rising and falling currents, at the upper ends of which there are fixtures for an iris valve and a reference anemometer, between vertical sections of the manifold there is a control panel with a frequency converter and a computer, besides, one of the outlets of the control panel is connected to a tight slot for the connection of a calibrated downhole flow meter.
EFFECT: simplified design, expanded range of calibration, increased efficiency of calibration works, possibility to calibrate all modifications of downhole gas flow meters, both in a rising and falling gas current.
