FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: composite sugar-containing food product with reduced nutritive properties contains sucrose, a sweetening substance and a low-caloric sugar substitute i.e. erythrite. The ratio of erythrite to sucrose is equal to 95:5-5:95, preferably - 65:35-35:65. The sweetening substance quantity is chosen taking into account the sweetness coefficient. The sweetening substance quantity is equal to 0.001-30.0 weight parts per 100 weight parts of the ready product.
EFFECT: invention allows to manufacture products with reduced caloric content which may be used for sweetening and traditional sugar substitution with reference sucrose taste and properties preservation.
