SUBSTANCE: method of automated detection of ingress of, at least, one foreign matter into a gas-turbine engine with rotor, according to which: the instant rotor mode is measured (R (t)); R(t) rotor mode signal is filtered for separation of its static component (Rs(t)) from its dynamic component (Rd(t)); the filtered dynamic component (Rd(t)) is compared with a reference resonant wave (e(t)) of the rotor for obtaining an ingress parameter (TING), and the reference resonant wave (e(t)) corresponds to vibration pulse reaction of the rotor; compare the obtained ingress parameter (TING) is compared with a detection threshold (S); the foreign matter ingress detection signal is generated when the ingress parameter (TING) is higher than the detection threshold (S).
EFFECT: improvement of accuracy and reliability of detection of hit of a foreign matter.
