FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device to measure speed of fluid medium in a pipeline comprises a measurement insert equipped with end nozzles with flanges, between which there is a measurement section made in the form of a pipeline measurement section from dielectric composition material fixed on the specified nozzles. A compartment for installation of equipment for measurement of fluid medium speed via the measurement section covers the measurement section. In the compartment there is measurement equipment, including at least an ultrasonic meter of fluid medium speed, a power supply unit and facilities for produced data processing. The device comprises a jacket for protection of measurement equipment against external exposure, at the same time the jacket has two side walls, which limit the compartment at the ends, an external protective screen placed between end walls, and fixation elements that connect the specified side walls to each other.
EFFECT: ease of installation in a pipeline, provision of equipment maintenance without device removal from a pipeline and provision of reliable protection of equipment against vandals and external exposures.
