SUBSTANCE: substance in solid or liquid sate is locally deposited on the surface of an asteroid. When the asteroid approaches the Sun, said substance turns into a gas state. Gases released from the surface of the asteroid generate a reaction force. This force alters the orbit of possible collision of the asteroid with the Earth into a safe orbit.

EFFECT: method can be used to control the trajectory of celestial bodies, particularly asteroids using the natural energy of sun rays.
