SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to medical instruments, in which Luer type connectors are used, in particular to methods and procedures for disinfection of the connectors, intended for liquid infusion. A nozzle for the covered Luer type connector contains a connecting part, the main part and a sealing element. The connecting part contains a screw thread of the Luer type on the external part and is made with a possibility of threaded connection with the Luer type connector in such a way that the central hole of the Luer type connector in connected with the screw thread of the Luer type of the connecting part. The main part has the proximal end, connected to the connecting part, the distal end, opposite to the proximal end, and a disinfectant-containing chamber between the proximal and distal ends. A sealing element is connected to the main part from the distal end side and is made with a possibility of preventing the disinfectant leak. The chamber is made with a possibility of being, at least, partially opened by the displacement of the sealing element, which provides access to an unprotected section of the disinfectant-containing chamber. The assembly of the covered Luer type connector and the nozzle contains the covered Luer type connector, which has a case part with a covering thread of the Luer type, and the said nozzle for the covered connector of the Luer type, connected to the covered connector of the Luer type. The method of disinfection of the unprotected section of the covering connector of the Luer type includes the presence of the covered connector of the Luer type, connected to the said nozzle for the covered connector of the Luer type; opening, at least, partially, the chamber by the displacement of the sealing element, which opens access to the disinfectant, and provision of a contact of the unprotected section of the covering connector of the Luer type with the disinfecting liquid, located in the chamber, before connection of the covering connector of the Luer type with the covered connector of the Luer type. In the second version of implementation the nozzle for the covered connector of the Luer type contains a transition section made in the form of a cone to form a cavity between the chamber and the connecting part, with the main part having the size, making it possible for the unprotected section of the covering connector of the Luer type to enter the chamber from the distal end.

EFFECT: group of inventions increases the probability of the fact that the unprotected surface of the covering connector of the Luer type will be processed with a disinfecting tampon before connection of the covered and covering connectors of the Luer type is realised.
