FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to adapter (1) for connecting drug delivery device (100) to connector (200) having external thread (201), wherein the adapter contains generally tubular case (2) having proximal area (2a) and distal area (2b); the proximal area has engaging means (3) for installing the specified adapter on the drug delivery device, wherein the distal area has on its inner wall internal thread (5) intended for interaction with the specified external thread so that to connect the connector to the adapter, while the specified internal thread defines top (5a) of internal thread, differ in that the top of internal thread has at least one deformable radial end part (6), radially deformed when screwing the connector into the adapter. Specified deformable radial end part (6; 7) is made of first material (8; 10), and top (5a) of internal thread is made of second material (9; 11), different from the specified first material. The invention also relates to a drug delivery device containing such an adapter, and to a method for connecting the connector to the adapter.
