SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to telecommunications, cable television, tracking systems and other industrial cable transmission systems, optical fibre widely used for transmitting audio and video and data, and specifically to a fibre-optic cable sleeve used for side branching from the main cable. The disclosed group of inventions includes a fibre-optic cable branching sleeve for side branching of a main cable, a cable input board and a cable branching method for branching a cable in a cable branching sleeve. The disclosed sleeve includes at least one cable input board, at least one connecting part assembled on the cable input board and having a fastening element assembled to fasten a mechanical waterproof component on the cable input board to provide waterproof protection of the connection between the main cable and the outer side of the cable branching sleeve, and at least a first hollow cylindrical tube formed on the connecting part and assembled to provide waterproof protection for the connection between the main cable and the outer side of the cable branching sleeve using one heat-shrinking tube or a flexible setting tube. The cable input board for the cable branching sleeve includes a connecting part, having a fastening element, and a first hollow cylindrical tube. The method of branching a cable in the sleeve includes providing a cable input board in the sleeve, assembling on the cable input board a connecting part having a fastening element, forming a first hollow cylindrical tube on the connecting part, when a mechanical waterproof component is used in a first example to provide waterproof protection for the connection between the cable and the outer side of the cable branching sleeve - removing the first hollow cylindrical tube and fastening the mechanical waterproof component on the cable input board using the fastening element, and when one heat-shrinking tube or flexible setting tube is used in a second example - using one of them to provide waterproof protection for the connection between the cable and the outer side of the cable branching sleeve.

EFFECT: eliminating shortcomings of waterproof treatment for side branching from a main cable, improved quality of execution and safety, considerably low cost of maintaining the structure.
