SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of printing on surfaces of flat wooden elements, as well as a production line for manufacturing flat wooden panels. The production line comprises at least a conveyor means for moving the panels in the direction of movement, and an inkjet printer and an electronic processor, at that the inkjet printer is controlled by the electronic processor. The inkjet printer comprises stationary print heads arranged one behind the other in the said direction of movement, each print head relates only to one colour selected from cyan, purple, yellow and black for consecutive application of the selected colours, and the conveyor means is made with the ability to move the wooden panels with the upper surface to be printed through the inkjet printer during the printing process in the direction of movement, at that the print heads are located above the upper surface of the panel to be printed.
EFFECT: development of the method of printing on surfaces of flat wood elements.
