SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sealing device (1) for a container having a neck, which defines an opening, and an external ledge on the outer wall. The sealing device comprises a membrane (10), which closes the specified opening, a cover (20), comprising retention facilities (25, 26), made as capable of transition from the first position, in which they do not limit the axial displacement of the cover (20) relative to the container, into the second position, in which they limit the specified displacement, a cartridge (30), made as capable of holding the cover (20) and movement along the axis relative to the specified cover between the distal position, in which the cartridge does not apply the radial force directed inside to the retention facilities, and the proximal position, in which the cartridge applies the specified force. At the same time the cartridge additionally comprises guides (32), made as capable of interaction directly or indirectly with the external ledge of the container so that the cartridge rotation relative to the container is limited, when the cartridge is in its proximal position, regardless of orientation, with which the sealing device is installed on the container.
