SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a head support for surgical tables and aims at making it possible to adjust the head support for each individual head. The head support for surgical tables comprises a rotatable retaining element to enclose the first side of the patient's head received into a receiving section, and the second rotatable retaining element to enclose the second side of the patient's head. Two retaining elements are connected together within a connection area by a connection element so that when one of the retaining elements rotates, the connection element also rotates the other retaining element. Between the connection area and the receiving section, there is a stationary element for supporting the head placed into the receiving section.
EFFECT: structural improvement.
