SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Method for synthesis of gaseous nitrogen oxide for inhalations involves collection of information related to one or more parameters of respiratory system connected to patient, where one or more parameters include one or more parameters associated with the respiratory system in the patient's inhalation act and determining one or more control parameters based on the collected information. Control parameters are determined on the basis of ventilation time of inhalation and actual or assumed volume of inhalation. A number of electric arcs are excited in external space in relation to the patient for generation of nitrogen oxide based on certain control parameters. Disclosed are alternative versions of apparatus for synthesis of gaseous nitrogen oxide for inhalations.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing synthesis of gaseous nitrogen oxide for inhalations with controlled concentration.
