FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: locking thread device comprises a bolt with a main nut and a check nut. The bolt pin is provided with right- and left-hand threads opposite to each other and having different diameters. The nuts are fitted with right- and left-hand threads respectively. The end face of the main nut sticks out by 2-3 mm over the bolt thread end face after complete tightening of the nut.
EFFECT: higher reliability of locking for threaded joints.
