FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: original blank is pre-shaped to form an inner cavity, parallel side walls and a reinforced front part therein. Afterwards a pack for rolling is formed, for this purpose a temporary insert is installed in the cavity of the blank with the help of a device which in the course of rolling prevents the seizure of the blank with the temporary insert by contacting surfaces. Further on, the blank is shaped by rolling in cylindrical rollers.
EFFECT: requirements to the operation of a patch piece are provided for.
